This year, VetCS partnered with Painted Lady Farms in Paonia, Colorado, to grow the high-quality hemp we use in our products. Paonia, located in west-central Colorado in the North Fork Valley of the Rocky Mountains, sits at an elevation of 5,682 feet. The area is renowned for its rich, volcanic soil, abundant irrigation water from the Gunnison River, and a mild climate that supports a variety of crops. These ideal growing conditions make Paonia a premier location for cultivating high-quality hemp and other agricultural products.
Once the hemp was harvested late last summer, VetCS brought 2,000 pounds of hemp to our lab in Loveland, Colorado, where we prepared the hemp for its transformation into the high-quality full-spectrum CBD we use in our products.
